Volos

Rail and bus services run from Thessaloniki and Athens to Volos. Busses run from Volos to Kala Nera.

BY BOAT...
Platanias

From Ag. Eleni at Skiathos Island you can get to Platanias at south Pelion by watertaxi (+30 697 272 5851)
and from Platanias you can go to Kala Nera by taxi or rental car.

Volos

You can take from Skiathos Island the ferryboat or Flying Dolphin to Volos.

If you travel by own car across Europe, you can catch a ferry from Italy to Igoumenitsa or Patras.
